The bulk of the Seljuq army having abandoned their fortresses in Anatolia to fight off the invaders from the south and the insurgency in Persia, the Emperor Justinian III, as supreme commander of the Roman Army, gives the order to attack. Let it be known, o servants of the Seljuq chieftain, that the might of the Romans has not yet dulled since ancient times, and that no turk that desists shall remain alive.

The eagle strikes Cavalry-rank
Heavy Roman cavalry, Katáfraktoi, more than a match for the turkish light cavalry.

A massive vanguard of Roman troops are now on the march, breaking through the turkish vanguard of fortified cities. It is said that the armies number in the tens of thousands, with a contingency from the Varangian guard marching at the spearhead.

[10 units, plus one unit of Varangians, laying siege to Cicilian Antiochia (Adana)]
[8 units laying siege to Aleppo]
[4 units of Armenian cavalry marches through Georgia, passing through the turkish lines and attacks the undefended city of Edessa]

The glorious victories has freed the native land of Anatolia from the turkic invaders; our cities of Aleppo, Cicilian Antioch and Edessa are now free! As the soldiers of Christ marched in through the city gates under the Labarum-banner, the inhabitants quoted the holy bible as they went:

Ὡσαννά: Εὐλογημένος ὁ ἐρχόμενος ἐν ὀνόματι κυρίου:

The war, however, is not yet over. Theodosiopolis is still occupied by the barbarian warlord's forced. With the Fatimid scoring yet another victory in Mesopotamia, victory is close at hand. For Christ the savior, the turkic menace is soon over, and peace shall once again rule in Asia Minor!

[4 units of Armenian cavalry from Edessa to Kerkuk to assist the Fatimid offensive]
[10 units from Cicilia, plus the varangians, attacks Theodosiopolis]

É Eúlogia kai to krátos en Megales Hristôn Pantokrátor, É patreída mas eleutheon ton exthroiôn!

The enemy grip on Theodosiopólis has finally fallen! The turkic grip around our sacred land is broken; watch him cower and run in fear to the east, whence he came! Soon, my brothers, soon peace shall once again reign over the holy lands of Babylon, Palestine and Anatolia. Soon!

Our brothers, the Kolchetians still lie under the threat of turkic occupation, however; not from the Seljuqs, but from their accursed brethren of the Azeris. The people of Kolchis are peaceful Christians, and the assault from the turkic mongrels will not be accepted. Let it be known that I, Caesar Augustus Justinianus III, declares that it be the will of the Romans that no Christian shall walk in fear of oppression. By god, we shall drive the invaders out and extract the Pantokrator's vengenace upon them. May He have mercy on their souls!

[Declares war against Azerbaijan]
[5 units from Theodosiopolis enters Georgia to assist their defence]
[5 units, plus Varangians attacks Tabriz]
