The very popular caliph, Ali al-Hakim, and all of the other amirs of the Fatimid Empire have decided to raise the taxes in the Fatimid Empire. After the glorious victories against the sunna-turks, the caliph is more popular than ever. The increased budget of the state will help build mosques and expand the military forces so that the Fatimid Empire can protect itself from outside barbarians and kaffirs.
