The Hungarian army march into the balkans with Zagreb as it's target, hoping that a siege of the capital will make the croatian kingdom collapse and surrender.
After a long march and being victim of several raids from croatian horsemen the hungarian army is finally outside Zagreb setting up a camp. When the battle breaks out all one can see is the hungarian besenyö falling at the gates in big puddles of blood. The croats has been victorious this day, but the battle is far from over.

Effects Hungary:[-10 prestige/-2 units/-20 gold]

The 2 units stationed in Hungary shall be sent to reinforce the 8 remaining units in Croatia, the siege shall be held and the Croats starved into submission.

One unit shall be raised in Hungary and garrisoned in the capital to maintain the peace,

The general of the Magyar hosts, Kán Szentgyörgyi és Bazini, decided upon this fine autumn day in his impatience, that one powerful assault shall be made upon the main gates of Zagreb. Confident that his mass of troops, supported by newly manufactured Ballistae, will grant him the victory he needs, he set ablaze the horns of war and focused his forces against the main barbican of the city walls. For the whole day, the violent onslaught continued, where most of the remaining Besenyők forces perished as well as many of the valiant, but chanceless Hrvatski defenders. Upon the eve of the day, the barbican broke, and king Géza's forces entered the city of Zagreb. The remaining defenders surrendered and were spared, the Magyar king having only intentions for his rival Petar Krešimir IV.

Woe struck upon him, for the castle and all of the king's halls were empty. Later, it appeared that the king had, through sly and the use of secret exits, had escaped the city during the siege, and were now travelling south towards the Adriatic coast and the city of Rika svetoga Vida. Using his last resources in a desperate attempt to push back the invaders, an army is raised in the south to prepare for the oncoming onslaught.

[Effects Hungary: -2 units, seizes Zagreb, takes one Croatian unit capture]
[Effects Croatia: -2 units, -20 prestige, loses Zagreb, King escapes to Rijeka, spends 100 gold on military, +1 unit]

the Dog shall be allowed to rest, the Hungarian Army moves down the coast in persuit of the Croat King, his people need not suffer this war due to his folly, any who seek to place themselves under Hungarian protection shall be rewarded when he finally meets justice. Those who fight on in vain shall be sent to meet their maker!
